New looks...

Carmen blogging...

Hi everybody. Long time no see. Well, it's the moment you've all been waiting for. Remember I said I wanted to change my hairstyle. Well, I did it today and I'm so happy with the results. Now with my new hair, I can actually have more styles done to it.

Before with my short, frizzy and curly hair, all I could do was cut it shorter so it was easier to maintain and not get out of hand. And keep it long to the point I look like a lion when I woke up. I'm not saying I hate my old hair. It definitely made me very unique. Not many people have natural curls. It was also easier for people to remember me. Back then I didn't have the same hairstyle everybody had.

But I wanted a change in my look. For almost 21 years, I had curly hair. Now I have really nice hair. Take a look below for my new hair.

Oh yeah. It wasn't only me who did her hair. Alicia did too! So check out our before and after pictures. Ohhhh. I'm so excited.

it's me again...

happy new 2009 to everyone out there....it's the first day back at school for the school goers....hahaha...candidate andrew have 2 weeks left before he goes back to kuching and off to singapore for SFOT...he has been very useful here in penang....hahaha...hopefully the boys here in penang will learn something good from him....

i have nothing much to write already.....i think that's all for now...until next time...

Christmas 2008

Christmas.... wow...it was fun for me....hahaha

all the caroling and eating....it was good jolly fun...haha....had three days off work just to enjoy the Christmas period.....will upload the pictures and video when Carmen comes back...she's staying in USM.....the youths did the Christmas play this year...it was funny at times cos we didn't do it traditionally.....we did it the modern day type...like normal clothings and all instead of robes and bare foot...we mix hokkien and malay into the play as well....but not much cos i and Carmen don't understand much...lol.....

had Christmas lunch at the corps....some staff from the home prepared the food with uncle ah lye's fantastic menu....the old boys sponsored the lunch....at night, we had dinner at the home...had a simple one then we karaoke in the tv room...hahaha...so fun.....we had 2 Australian salvationist with us this Christmas....they had fun....one of them said they might come back next year for Christmas....lol

new year is coming....my new year's resolution list ;
be happy
be merry
be jolly
lose weight( targeted weight 58kg and below)
do something with the hair ( maybe do rebonding)
get more girls clothes (omg, i cant believe i said that, lol)
be more responsible
be more independent
get a new boyfriend (might not need one)

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

hi y'all

wow..it's been a long time since i've blogged....hmmm..let's see what's happening in my life

started working at a photoshop near my place. 5 minutes cycle, 10 minutes walk. lol...that near..haha....the work there is like very slack for most of the days and 1 or 2 days will be busy...i noticed that working in this type of place is like so invading people's privacy...lol...they come and print pictures and we get to know what they been up to....lol...a picture says a thousand words...lol..its true..sometimes i get jealous cos the pictures are their holiday pictures..its good working there..get to see people's holiday pictures, get to know what is out there...we also provide photocopy service, so sometimes people come and photocopy their important document..example like IC, birth cert, marriage cert, police reports, salary slip, upsr/spm/pmr results...lol..we get to see their personal details when its suppose to be private and confidential....

oh ya...our corps just got broke in..they took 2 bass, 1 electric guitar, 2 amps and a projector...i feel very sad cos they took the instruments...they are like pros, kickin their way in. kick down a steel bar window...we took pictures. but will uppload it if carmen approves...lol..dont think she'll let me upload the pics...

my birthday was a blast eventhough i didnt celebrate it with my family members..only carmen tho..we went to chilis for lunch....yummy....and dinner was with my friends at kim gary..thanks eow, and yen...

oooohhh.....i cant wait for christmas.....i also cant wait for caroling to start..i just love goin round sharing my musical talents...lol...

Carmen blogging.

Hello.

My econs paper was so hard. Even with the MCQ it was still hard. Note to self: Must really study. Well I guess that's my problem. I didn't really study. Darn. Well taught me a lesson for not studying.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this but STPM econs is so much easier than my uni introduction to econs paper. Why people say STPM hard? Uni also hard, you know. You have to be on your toes all the time because of assignments, group projects, tests, this and that. I felt STPM wasn't hard for me. It was okay. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be especially when people kept on saying when you go uni, uni would be so much easier than STPM.

Well it's kind of the opposite for me. In uni you have to finish a whole syllabus for a paper in 13 weeks with 1 lecture a week. Back in Form 6, we had 3 to 4 classes per week for 1 paper and 6 to 8 months to finish the syllabus. So uni is actually harder. Of course, I'm more free because it's just one 2 hour lecture and one 1 hour tutorial class per week for 1 paper. Well I should really use all my free time to study so I wouldn't be in this situation.

The thing was with STPM, I couldn't really focus on studying because I had just came back from Singapore for the Heavenly Calling Retreat. And that was for 6 more papers. I didn't really study and I manage to pass my papers, 2 papers better than just borderline pass.
(Advice: Do not ever follow my example of not studying and expect to pass.)

But God is wonderful and I passed my STPM. I got into the best public university in Malaysia as well. He was also with me when I just sat for my econs paper. Even though the paper was hard, I had no idea why I suddenly just smiled during the paper and knew that everything was going to be just fine. God was really with me calming me and assuring me everything will be okay. I thank Him for that. I'm not even worrying as much for my paper as I would have worry a lot if God wasn't with me.

So here I am blogging. Kinda happy. But also kinda feeling a little guilty after doing so badly in my econs paper that I'm feeling happy.
